Badger launch new hopeful for Craft Ale Week

Never one to rest on their laurels (in a comfy fireside chair with a pint of Fursty Ferret perhaps, but never on their laurels), Badger have brought out a new beer to coincide with Cask Ale Week, from 27th September to 6th October.

It’s called Hopeful Hop and it’s a single-hop light golden beer, 4.6% abv, brewed solely with Celeia hops for a powerful citrus hop aroma and subtle bitter finish.

Their Head Brewer Toby says he’s been a little bit playful and added the Celeia hops at five different occasions in the brewing process to maximise the flavours and bring out the hops’ essential oils, giving the beer a complexity of flavour that will leave you wanting more.

They’re hoping its light zesty zing will go down a treat during Cask Ale Week – and with a name like Hopeful Hop we don’t think there’s any need to cross our fingers.
