Marston’s Wins ‘Best National Cask Ale Brewer’

Marston’s Beer Company has been awarded the coveted title of ‘Best National Cask Ale Brewer’ in the Publican’s Choice Awards 2013.

The Publicans’ Choice Awards recognises what readers of the Publican’s Morning Advertiser (PMA), consider to be the best suppliers in the trade. Marston’s was awarded the accolade for its vast portfolio of beer styles and its innovative approach, including the introduction the Single Hop range which has generated immense interest amongst the craft beer scene.

Richard Westwood, managing director of Marston’s Beer Company said:

“It’s an absolute honour to receive this award, particularly as it’s voted for by publicans who are of course, crucial to the success of our business. This award is testament to the dedication of our brewing team and also the strength of our portfolio.”

The awards, now in their fourth year, are the result of an extensive industry poll undertaken by the PMA, which asked licensees to vote for their dream team of suppliers. The magazine asked publicans to vote for companies that they believe offered the best customer service, flexibility, and provide the best product range and go the extra mile.

When voting for their best brands, voters were asked to consider range, product quality, marketing support for the brand, price, value and customer feedback. The results are a simple computation of licensee votes, with winning and highly commended brands and companies receiving the biggest share of reader’s votes.
