Refurbished Windsor Castle pub to host beer festival

The Windsor Castle pub, in Kensington, London, has re-opened following extensive refurbishment and is out to make a name for itself as a beer lovers’ destination.

The pub will host its first ale festival this week, in association with sister pub The White Horse, between June 6 and 9.

The event will include 24 barrels from 24 brewers, from local microbreweries to national craft houses, as well as food and beer matching evenings hosted by beer sommelier Jamie Percival.

Cask racks in the garden will give buffs the chance to sample a selection of guest London ales alfresco.
