Beer Nation – Raising The Bar – begins 4th July

Former swimming baths in Hackney Wick, London, will be home to a ‘free-from politics’ beer experience for 17 weeks from July 4 until October 31.

Urban Sessions and Beer Nation are setting up shop for 17 weeks offering some of the world’s best beers, as well as a selection of cocktails and ciders.

Urban Sessions will offer 8 bars, featuring London’s best beers, the nation’s finest brews and awesome beers from around the world, including some never before seen on these shores. There will also be loads of cocktails, created by Ginstock champions and Matt Roberts, from Powderkeg Diplomacy, plus ciders and soft drinks too.

Beer writing and tastings expert Melissa Cole is curating Beer Nation. This area has a large tasting and education bar where there will be meet the brewer events, once-a-month beer dinners and tutored tasting sessions, plus other fun stuff. With a capacity of 80, it is also available for private and corporate hire — find out more by e-mailing events@urbansessions.co.uk

Outside, there will be a cider shack and all sorts of other tasty stuff, including food stands, like Northfield Farm and the Ribman, and live music or tunes being piped from inside from an awesome line-up of DJs and bands.
