I love this beer – and I always remember the first time I had it. It was unromantically delivered in an Ocado delivery a few years back amongst my more regular choices, and sat in the fridge untouched for a couple of days as my regular stock gradually depleted.

Before I knew it Sunday lunchtime had arrived, and I was considering my pre-roast beer with extreme care – a very important decision (those who love a few beers before their Sunday roast will concur)! And there it was with its lovely looking artistic and utopic green label and organic charms.

From pouring it into an appropriate vessel I knew it was going to be good – you can sort of tell from the way it comes out the bottle and the aromas it gives off. And then the first sip… wow! Lovely grapefruit and piney hoppy flavours in abundance with the perfect bitter finish. This is one of those craft beers that all others probably aspire to be. Grab one and see what you think
