This is an enjoyable modern IPA – however it is perhaps trying a little too hard to stand out from the crowd – and in doing so loses the balance that would gain it a 4 or 5 star rating from me. It’s punchy and in your face – and judging by the brewery’s comments this is their intention – so they have sort of succeeded in what they wanted to achieve!

However, there are plenty of better IPA’s out there today – that quietly and patiently wait on the shelf – sighing to themselves as they are rejected for their noisy neighbour. Don’t get me wrong though – give it a try and then move on
