A brand new look for Box Steam Brewery

Handcrafted real ale producer, Box Steam Brewery, has redesigned and upgraded its entire packaging and point of sale across the portfolio to deliver a more consistent message. The new look has already been recognised with a Bronze Design and Package medal in the International Beer Challenge Awards.

Tailored to meet the needs of the on and off trade, the new packaging is designed to be more informative and have greater shelf stand out, with a range of bright coloured labels and a concise description of the ale on the front of the bottle. The   recognizable Box Steam Brewery logo will remain, but with a new brand strapline ‘Steam Brewed in Wiltshire’ to create a strong artisan feel and reflect the engineering and heritage of the brewery’s inspiration – Isambard Kingdom Brunel.

In response to public demand, following a successful limited market trial, Box Steam Brewery has expanded the range to include ‘Golden Bolt’, a straw coloured hoppy beer, bringing the core portfolio to eight artisan ales.

The POS kit for the range will also be upgraded to mirror the new design labels, underpinning the super premium positioning of the brand.

Niall Thomas, Manager of Box Steam Brewery comments,

“To ensure we can deliver exactly the right look for our brand we have conducted extensive research, including competitor profiling and in field testing. W e are confident that the new look will appeal to a wide range of consumers and will see our ales promoted in more outlets and increase our distribution across the UK, which will be the next challenge.”

The new packaging and POS material will be rolled into the on trade and off trade outlets from this month.
